  • Scope and Content
Thomas Tingey died on or about 19 Jan 1795 having assigned to William Peppercorn the remainder of a 900 year lease on certain properties in Little Barford. The original indenture, dated 20 Mar 1765, was made between Joesph South, Henry Tingey of Little Barford, gentleman, and Abraham Winterbottom. The rights therein since devolved on the executors of the will of William Mole of Eaton Socon, gentleman, i.e. Jonathan Adams, surgeon, Nevile Day, gentleman, and John Brown, butcher, all of St. Neots. No legal representative of Thomas Tingey being available the current owners request that limited administration be granted to William Peppercorn for the purpose of assigning the legal title.
