Addressed to Miss Anthony [Emmiline Ford Anthony], 24 Kimbolton Road, Bedford from A G Caldecott [Amelia Guest Caldecott, half sister of Sophia Anthony, who was step mother of Emmiline], chez Madame la Baronne de Montenach, 22 Rue St. Pierre, Fribourg, Switzerland. Postmark Fribourg [Switzerland]. Message: Has been here a fortnight and expects to stay until beginning of October. Was roused at 6am to go to Interlarken but could not go after all as the mountains were covered in cloud. Today is the Fete National so there will be fireworks tonight.
