Dated 8th March 1922 BIGGLESWADE URBAN DISTRIC COUNCIL Diversion of Footpath at Stratton Park DECLARATION Of Mr. T.R. Howitt respecting the affixing of Notices H. Chaundler, Biggleswade. “H” I THOMAS RUSSEL HOWITT of Biggleswade in the County of Bedford Surveyor do solemnly and sincerely declare as follows: - 1. A Notice signed by Henry Chaundler the Clerk to the Urban District Council of Biggleswade in the County of Bedford of the intended Application to the Justices of the Peace assembled in Quarter Sessions in and the for the County of Bedford to stop up divert or turn a certain public highway or footpath therein more particularly referred to is hereto annexed marked “A” 2. That on the fourteenth day of January I affixed duplicates of such Notice signed by the said Henry Chaundler at the place and by the side of each end of that part of the said public highway or footpath from whence the same is proposed to be stopped up diverted or turned as mentioned in the said Notice, and the same so remained affixed for four successive weeks after such date. 3. That on the twentieth and twenty-seventh days of January and the third and tenth days of February One thousand nine hundred and twenty-two duplicates of the same Notice were inserted as an advertisement in the North Beds Courier newspaper being a newspaper published in and circulating in the said Parish of Biggleswade. Copies of the said newspaper in which the said advertisement appeared are hereto annexed marked “B”, “C”, “D” & “E” AND I make this solemn Declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Statutory Declarations Act 1835.
