    Be it remembered on 22nd August 1921 Winifred Iris Mason of Limbury, Agnes Mason of Limbury & Harold Wilshire of Limbury personally came before me, one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace severally acknowledged to owe our Sovereign Lord the King the sum of £10 each of good & lawful Money of Great Britain, to be made & levied of their Goods & Chatels, Lands & Tenements if they the said bounden several persons shall fail in the condition indorsed. Taken & acknowledged the day & year first mentioned at the Court House, Luton before me John I Wright one f His Majesty's Justice of the Peace

    The Condition of the written Recognizance is such, That whereas the said Frederick Mason was this day charged before the said Justice of the Peace, that he the said Frederick Mason did on 10th July 1921 at Limbury unlawfully & indecently assaulted a certain female named Winifred Iris Mason, If therefore they the said Winifred Iris mason, Agnes Mason & Harold Wilshire shall appear at the next court of General Quarter session of Peace to be holden at the Shire Hall, Bedford., & there give such evidence as is to them severall know, upon a Bill of Indictment to be then & there preferred against Frederick Mason for the offence aforesaid, as well to the jurors who shall there inquire of the said offence as also to tthe Jurors who shall pass upon the trial of the said Frederick Mason,if the said Bill shall be found a true Bill then the Recognizance to be void, as to such of the bound persons as shall perform the said conditions or else to stand in the full force & virtue.
