Scale of Contribution Charges. The Quarter Sessions this year imposed the maximum Scale of contributions to the Compensation Fund. As will be seen from th Statement of Receipts and Expenditure there is only a balance in hand of £79. 4s. 5d. Out of next year’s levy the sum of £1195 will have to be paid in respect of the compensation for the “King’s Head” Ampthill. This will considerably reduce the amount available for dealing with cases to be referred in 1922, and the Committee therefore recommend that the Quarter Sessins impose the maximum scale of contributions in 1922.
