Copy of extracts from the diary of Owen Watkin, orginal held by Biggleswade History Society. Owen was son of Arthur William Watkin who acquired the business of Woodall & Co, blacksmith, in Biggleswade which later became A W Watkin & Son. The business encompassed blacksmith, wheelwright, commercial vehicle body builder and a short-lived bus company. The diary contains reflections on the wider political and economic climate as well as how the company was affected.
