Scope and Content
(i) Thomas Bull, Pitchley, Northants, yeoman (youngest son of John Bull senior, late of Pavenham, yeoman, decd)
(ii) Henry Bull, Burton Latimer, Northants, yeoman (son and heir of the said John Bull)
(iii) William Harris, Biddenham, yeoman
Reciting indenture dated 23 January 1712/13, between (a) John Pepiatt of Bedford, gent and Thomas Barrenger of Pavenham, baker (b) Henry Bull and (c) William Harris being a demise for 500 years by (a) and (b) to (c), by way of mortgage to secure £40 and interest of:
- a messuage or tenement with the malthouse, kiln and kilnhouse (since converted into two tenements) in Pavenham, late in the occupation of William Cranfield and then of John Chambers, bounded north by the ground then or late of Doctor Reynolds, south by the common street and wet by the ground of Doctor Reynolds, and also
- the pightle of pasture adjoining the messuage, cont. one rood and that the principal and interest have not been repaid
And reciting that Henry Bull has since conveyed to Thomas Bull the reversion of the premises for £82, and that Thomas Bull has undertaken to discharge the mortgage, when required.
