    8a) Bedfordshire Constabulary, Bedford Division, Return Cases for Trial at the Quarter Sessions, on Wednesday 12th October 1921 Offender :- Wiliam John Davis, aliases Percy Sterling, George Stanley, F Stewart, & F Campbell Offence :- Unlawfully obtaining by means of a certain False Pretence from Arthur Grey Duberly at Eastcotts on the 13th August 1921, a certain valuable sercurity to wit a Cheque drawn on the London County Westminster & Farr's Bank for paymet of £4 the property of the said Arthur Grey Duberly, with intent to defraud Offence :- Unlawfullu obtaining the sum of £2-10-0 the moneys of Ernest Snowden St Quinton at Campton on 28th August 1921 by means of a certain False Pretence with intent to defraud. Offence :- Unlawfully attempting to obtain a sum of money by means of false pretences from Margaret, Lady Ampthill at Oakley on or about 2nd August 1921 with intent to defraud.
