    (i) George Travill, Houghton Conquest, labourer and wife Jane (formerly Jane Sletcher) (ii) Frederick Billington, Bedford, dealer Reciting will of John Sletcher, late of Kempston, cordwainer, dated 22 August 1862 by which he devised all his real estate and residue of personal estate to wife Jane Sletcher. He died on 19 September 1862. Will proved 31 October 1862 (PPR). On 25 January 1865 Jane Sletcher married George Travill at Kempston Parish Church.
