    That the said Ralph has demised and granted to the said John ...the herbage and pasture [of the freebord which belongs to him] in his wood of Bodeldegrave with his croft called Bondescroft and likewise from one end to the other between the aforesaid wood and that headland which Gooffrey Spyrie held from the said John. To hold from Ralph and his heirs and assigns to the said John and his heirs and assigns free from services while he shall live and on his death the heirs shall give annually [?10 capons]. Ralph is to be allowed to send carts in winter over the field called Nelyngshull to the gate of the wood. Witnesses: Sir Thomas de Bray, Thomas de Norwod, Edmund de Bray, Robert son of Samson, Robert de Bray and others.
