    Richard Sampson of Westoning, yeoman, one of the sons of Richard Sampson, late of Biddenham, yeoman, now deceased, to Robert Hare of Bedford, yeoman --- A principale messuage in Bedford lying next the lane called Colles Lane on the west and tenements of the aforesaid Richard Sampson, late of Simon Wylshere on the east, abutting south on the lane called Wellstreate and north on Alhollowes Grene. Also 3 cottages, formerly one messuage, late of Simon Wylsher, in Well Streate in the parish of St. Paul's, between the aforesaid principal messuage on the west and a tenement late of Nicholas Luke, Esq [Baron of the Exchequer] on the east and abutting south on the aforesaid street next the well. Also another cottage, lately called Ponds, in St Pauls parish, lately called the parish of All Saints), lying next to the lane leading from Alhollowes to the aforesaid street, on the west, and to a close of R.S on the east, abutting south, on the aforesaid close and north on the King's Highway. Also a tenement, called le Dragon in the parish of St Pauls, lying between a close and a toft of Richard Ryselyes. late of Great Barford, abutting north on the King's Highway and south on a ditched called Saffron dytche. Also a tenement in Sylver Streate, between a tenement of Henry Albeny on the east and one of [left blank] on the west. Also a tenement in Elstow with 4 acres of arable land and meadow.
