    (i) John Hawkins, Hitchin, Herts, esq (ii) William Sullivan, Colonel in Army, Assistant Adjutant to H M Forces in Crimea, but now on leave Said John Hawkins (iii) Charles Cholmley Hale, Kings Walden, Herts, esq William Hale jnr, died on 30 June 1841 and so said term of 99 years was determined By indentures of assignment of 2 Apr 1849 A) Caroline Osborne B) William Hale snr C) John Hawkins (A) transferred property to (C) to hold for residue of terms and also said principal sum of £2500 William Hale snr made his will on 7 October 1848 and appointed (ii) his exors. He died on 21 February 1852. Will proved PCC on 24 May 1852/ Said term of 99 years was determined. (ii) have satisfied sum of £2500 out of personal estate of W Hale snr so (i) yields up to (iii) - Holwell Bury and land Signatures of (ii) Endorsed witnesses
