Scope and Content
(i) Theodore Harris, Leighton Buzzard, banker
(ii) James Tearle, Dunstable, confectioner
Being the agreement to purchase for £500 land in North Street, Dunstable, comprising a shop, house, part of wash house, garden etc.
£50 to be paid as deposit and remainder i.e. £450 on 25 March 1873.
If not completed on that day then to pay interest of £5 p.a. on sum remaining unpaid.
Various covenants as to deeds and title
(i) will erect brick wall not less than 5ft high to divide premises sold from adj. property
Occupiers of adj. propert may have access to well on property sold for purpose of drawing water
Covenant that if adj. land of (i) is built on, the lower half of all windows which may be opened overlooking (ii)'s property shall be glazed with opaque glass and now such windows shall be opened within 30ft of the line of frontage to North Street
Partition wall to remain property of (i). Boundary as shown on plan on deed shall denote future building line.
