(i) put the following property up for sale by auction at the Red Lion Inn, Dunstable on 20 September 1809 and (iii) was the highest bidder
Now in consid. of £935 paid by (iii) to (i)
(i) releases to (iii)
- messuage formerly an inn, in Dunstable, formerly in occ. of William Hatter, then William Bailey, then Charity Swindell, then Thomas Warren and late of Mark Brown and known as the Saracens Head
One side: once William Freeth, then Mary Oliver, now William Oliver in occ. of said Mary Oliver
Other side: former Black Lion but now a private house in occ. of Richard Underwood

- former smiths shop then a braziers adj. above messuage and belonging thereto
(iv) being trustee for (iii) if necessary
To hold said property indemnified from legacies given by will of John Swindell, late of Dunstable, gent, dec. dated 5 May 1750, to Mary Swindell, his daughter, dec. and charged on said property.
With covenant to produce deed of 21 Jan 1775 between various members of Vander Meulen and the Hitch families
Also reciting a term of 500 years created by a mortgage of 4 October 1725, and a deed of 29 November 1750 by which property became vested in Humphrey Curtis, Dunstable, hatter. By limited administration of the estate of said Humphrey Curtis, dated 6 June 1810, granted by PCC, in now vested in (ii) in trust for (i). Residue of said term of 500 years is now transferred to (v) in trust for (iii)
