Recites:
- Indenture between Robert Valentine and Abraham Fountaine, 2 Feb 1878
- Death of Abraham Fountaine on 5 August 1882 and his will, 1882
- Indenture between William Samuel Slim and Thomas Francis Fountaine, 11 Dec 1882
Conveyance from (i) as mortgagee by the direction of (ii) and (i) as beneficial owner, in consideration of £100 paid to (i) and £3.10s to (ii) of:
(a) piece of ground bounded on the north by hereditaments formerly of George Baxter and now or late of Alfred London on the south and east by Tavistock Place (formerly known as Hawes Street) and on the west by hereditaments now or late of George Birtchnell.
(b) two messuages as in X730/4 and 5, described now as formerly known as 8 and 9 Hawes Street and in the occupation of widow King and another and now known as nos. 18 and 19 Tavistock Place and in the occupation of Mrs Bell and Benjamin Church subject to a right of way for Joseph Birtchnell.
Acknowledgement by (i) and (ii) of the right of (iii) to production of the recited indentures of 9 Feb 1878 and 11 Dec 1882 with an undertaking by (ii) for safe custody thereof.
Witnesses: Alfred White, clerk to Messrs Conquest and Clare of Bedford, solicitors and by (ii) and (iii) in the prescence of C.C Bell.
