    (i) James Hart (ii) Frederick Whitbread Billington of Kempston, clockmaker Recites: - X730/3/1-2 Conveyance by grant from (i) in consideration of £70 to (ii) of: (a) piece of ground in the parish of St Pauls, Bedford, bounded on the north by hereditaments of George Baxter, on the south and east by Hawes Street and on the west by hereditaments of Joseph Birtchnell (b) two messuages or dwelling houses now standing upon (a) known as 8-9 Hawes Street and now in occ. of Whiteman and Eaton subject to a right of way and passage for Joseph Birtchnell, his heirs etc. and the tenants and occupiers of the house and premises on the west side of (a) through and along the passage. Declaration by (ii) who has been married since 1 Jan 1834 that no widow of his shall be entitled to dower in or out of the premises. with plan (coloured) in left hand margin showing boundaries of (a) and location thereon of (b) and barns, yard, 'dust', and Mr Birtchnell's right of way (all being part of (a))
