Samuel Davis of Ampthill, gentleman, steward of the Manor of Ampthill within the Honor of Ampthill, appoints Bartholomew Churchill Carter of Staples Inn, London, gentleman, to be steward to take surrender of William Willis and wife Sarah of:
- 2 copyhold cottages etc in Woburn Street in occupation of James Vigurs and — Bowden to the use of Joseph Pulley, Ampthill, surgeon and apothecary, forever
Samuel Davis ratifies whatsoever his deputy does in the premises 'by virtue of these presents'
