    Manor of Henlow Grey Lord: Henry, Duke of Kent Court held 5 April 1727 Recites: Aaron Gibbs, late of parish of St. James, Clerkenwell, Middlesex, customary tenant of manor held: - piece of land called "les yards" in Henlow cont. in length 6p. in breadth 6p. late occ. by Robert Handscombe, now Henry Sibley at rent of 1d p.a - close of pasture called "Tilleys Close" in Henlow, cont. 5a. late occ. by Robert Handscombe, now Henry Sibley, at rent of 5/7d pa. To which Aaron Gibbs was admitted tenant at court held on Tuesday 8 April 1724 By will dated 4 April 1724, Aaron Gibbs devised all property to son Lacy Gibbs for life then his heirs; failing such issue to his brother Moses Gibbs and his heirs; failing such issue ....messuage and lands in Bromley, Kent. messuage and farm in Henlow now occ. by Sibley and messuage and farm at Lilley, Herts now occ. by Edmund Clarke to cousin, Thomas Tew Will proved PCC On 19 May 1724 Aaron Gibbs surrendered above premises to use of his will. After death of Aaron Gibbs, lacy Gibbs entered on premises but died before admission without heirs. On death of Lacy Gibbs, Moses Gibbs entered on premises but died before admission without heirs Now: Thomas Tew in person of his attorney, William Barker, gent, was admitted to premises attested by George Draper, steward
