- Scope and ContentDescribes some mahogany chairs, 4 of which were owned by Hugh's father and were among the furniture at Turvey Abbey. They are part of a set of six which belonged to a member of the writer's family, who suffered financial loss and had to sell them many years ago. Hugh's great uncle Charles Longuet-Higgins purchased four of them and the writer's father's people the remaining two, which writer's father now has. Ventures to write to Hugh to ask if he would sell the four chairs at a valuation, as they mean a great deal to her father. Believes the chairs are now in the Manor Room at Turvey. [Note: writer's father was Rev. Francis Woodbury Fulford, past rector of Turvey.]
