    i) John Lysaght, manufacturer George Nichols, auctioneer and surveyor James Inskip, gent all of Bristol ii) Thomas James Hooper, Biggleswade, gent iii) Rev Richard Folliott Scott, Arlesey, incumbent of Arlesey Reciting deed of 16 Aug 1876 (a) Egerton Hubbard (b) sd Egerton Hubbard and William Muller, jnr (c) Rev Thomas Hubbard (d) Geo Stewart Watson (e) Rt Hon John Gellibrand Hubbard sd Thomas Hubbard Sir Woodbine Parish (f) Emily Clara Charlt Edwards (g) sd John Lysaght James Inskip (h) John Latham Press (j) sd John Lysaght George Nichols James Inskip - lands hereinafter described were limited: 1/4 part to use of John Lysaght 1/4 part to George Nichols 2 x 2/5 parts to James Inskip (i) sometime since agreed with ii) to sell him parts of the land for £2547.10s In 1850 and 1853 the Great Northern Railway Co purchased part of the glebe lands of the Rectory. Purchase money is now represented by £1609.2s.6d 3% Consols 31 May 1875 (iii) entered into a provisonal contract with ii) (subject to the approval of the Court of Chancery) for purchase of undermentioned lands for £1500 and on 5 June 1875 (iii) presented a petition for the approval of the said contract. On 5 June 1875 Court considered €1500 a fit price and ordered and enquiry into the title. If so the Consols could be converted into cash and used for the purchase, (iii) agreeing to make up the deficiency in price, if necessary now in consid of £1500 to be pd to (i) (i) at request of (ii) convey to (iii) - piece of land (12 acs), formerly in 2 pieces, in Arlesey W Great Northern Railway N Vicarage House and glebe land and churchyard E (pt) public road E (rem pt) remainder of land sold by (i) to (ii) S (pt ) remainder of land sold by (i) to (ii) S (rem pt) Arlesey Bury (as on plan on deed) Certain rights of passage granted to owners of nearby lands (shown on plan on deed) including to and from the crossing of the GNR to be held by (iii) and his successors to the intent that sd land may be part of the glebe Deeds are to be retained by i) as they relate also to other property but they covenant to produce them, as in schedule Schedule 9 and 10 May 1823 - Lease and release 1 and 2 Sept 1828 - Lease and release 29 and 30 Mar 1830 - Lease and release 18 May 1837 - Indenture endorsed on deed of 20 Mar 1830 21 Aug 1851 - Indenture endorsed on deed of 30 Mar 1830 6 Oct 1857 - Indenture 23 Dec 1874 - Agreement 16 Aug 1876 - Indenture (as above) Signaturess i) and ii) Endorsed Witnesses: S J Bolas, clk to Messrs Hoopers, sols, B'wade and J L Press, sol, Bristol; R Lenton, clk to Messrs Brittain, Press and Inskip, Bristol; Frederick James Alder, clk to George Nichols
