    Reciting will of Henry Littledale of Craig's Court, Charing Cross, Middlesex and of Kempston Grange, Esq., dated 22 June 1866 (proved PPR on 7 August 1866) by which he devised ...to Charles Richard Littledale, Arthur Littledale and Harry Thornton, the trustees of my will - freehold mansion, lands etc. in Kempston, called Kempston Grange - all other estates wherever situate In trust to permit Julia Anne Frances Thornton, now of Kempston Grange, widow, to occupy the house for her life as long as she should think fit, together with as much land as she wanted. Subject to such right of occupation he devised said property in trust for sale. Now said Julia Anne Frances Thornton declares that she has not exercised the right of occupation of the lands (as in plan) which trustees put up for sale by auction on 13 October 1866.
