    (i) Henry Gerard Leigh of 19 Hans Place, Middlesex, Captain in Her Majesty's First Life guards (ii) The Mortgage Trustees of the Rock Life Assurance Co., 15 New Bridge, St. Blackfriars, City of London Recites: Will of John Gerard Leigh of Luton Hoo Park and 138 Piccadilly, Middlesex, by which all his estate, except the leasehold, was bequeathed to his wife Eleanor Lucy, for life and after to his heirs [15 Jul 1872] Death of testator [24 Feb 1875] Probate of will [21 Apr 1875] Testator left no issue Henry Blundell Leigh of Amington Hall, Leics. was only brother and heir, but died in 1875 leaving as heir his eldest son (i). Wife of testator is still living and is now Eleanor Lucy de Falbe, wife of His Excellency Christian Frederik de Falbe. Testator was seised of Luton Hoo Park Estate. Under will of his father testator was seised of hereditaments at Kirkdale, Wavertree, West Derby near Liverpool and at Widnes near St. Helens and at Whiston and Eccleston near Prescot, Lancs. Under will of his father testator was seised of the Grange Hall Estate, Chester Marriage settlement of (i) and Marion Lindsay Antrobus by which covenanted that if he became seised of the property he would surrender all freehold parts to the trustees to the use of himself for life and all copyhold to use of trustees. Parts of the testators estates have been sold and large sums of money invested in mortgage or other securities and are liable to be laid out in purchase of other real estate or in improvements. Part of the unsold estates are leasehold in Liverpool producing £4,600 rent p.a Mortgage between (i) and (II), by which (ii) lent (i) £10,000 and (i) covenanted that within 6 months of the death Eleanor Lucy de Falbe he would pat £22,000 and interest to (ii); the property assigned to (ii) for term of 99 years. [11 Nov 1890] Since the date of the mortgage certain parts of the testator's real estate have been sold. (i) has affected assurance on his own life for £31,000 with the Rock Life Assurance Co. in the names of the trustees. (i) has requested (ii) to grant him a £2,000 annuity for the life of himself and E.L de Falbe. Rock Life Assurance Co. have secured the annuity. Consid. the aboe and the £2,000 annuity Covenants by (i): (a) that within 6 months of death of E. Lucy de Falbe he will pay £30,950 and interest to (ii) (b) that all hereditaments in Beds, Chester, and Lancs. (in first schedule) and money in second schedule shall remain vested in (ii) and that (ii) shall stand possessed of insurance policy for £31,000 Proviso that all will be assigned to (i) if he pays £30,950 and interest Schedule 1: - Perpetual ground rent of £753 on Victoria Foundry, Liverpool - Property at W.Kirby agreed to be sold to Mr Wall - Property at Luton agreed to be sold for a children's home. - Property at Wallasey agreed to be sold to Mr. Butten Schedule 2: Investments and funds representing the proceeds of the sales of Schedule 1 Attached: Notice to trustees of the settlement of 23 Oct 1886, made on the marriage of (i) and M.L Antrobus, 17-30 Aug 1893
