- Scope and ContentWriter has to stay in bed till Barrett gives permission for him to get up. Will not be taking services on Sunday. Might be given sick leave on Monday. Might be telephoning to suggest Cecil meets him at Waterloo on Sunday evening or Monday morning. Thinks 2 nights at the Cumberland would do him good. Brother John might be able to dine with them there. They would be able to celebrate Pamela's engagement [to Arthur Munn]. Writer will try to arrange to get a photograph of himself in battle dress. Please Cecil enjoyed the Shrove Tuesday party at the village hall.
