Papers and photographs of the Sprague family of Eversholt, Woburn and Bedford. The items were formerly in an unsuitable modern album (until Feb 1988) when they were removed and catalogued as separate items. The labels, presumably written by Miss Dennett from information given by Ermyntrude "Bunnie" Sprague (b.1901), have been retained. See Z506 cat. for further family papers.
John Sprague (c.1816-1915) was the House Steward to the Duke of Bedford. He married Catherine Anderson. Together they had three children John (b.1846), Mary Jane (b.1848) and Henry (b. 1852).
