Recites X180/5 (mortgage of 1700) his manor or lordship of Nares alias Nerres, in Leighton Buzzard, and a messuage wherein William Stare dwells, commonly called Nares near and adjacent unto the common heath; 50 acres called Nares & Gledleys at the further end of Leighton Heath, divided by a lane leading to Braggenham, Nares closes lying below, and Gledleys closes lying above said lane, the heath being on the South East, Braggenham North East and the land of John Hillersdon gent.
