Horace Smart; Not considered suitable. Age 17 years 11 months, he has not been charged or convicted before. Has a good home, his employer has promised to take him back on his dicharge from prison. Arthur C G Roe; Not considered suitable, Age 20. He has hither to been a good character. Lack of emloyment & associating with other youhs also out of work seems to be the cause of his downfall. Has a good home and work can be found for him on his discharge. Walter E Bailey; Not considered suitable, Age 17 years 7 months. He has not been charged or convicted before. Has a good home & work can be found for him on release from prison. George W Brown; Considered suitable. Age 16 years 5 months. Of criminal tendencies. his father died about 3 years ago & from what I can gather his mother has no control over him, now is the time to take him in hand if he is to be saved from a life of crime.. In my opinion a long term of Borstal treatment is the best thing for him, as he requires strict discipline for some considerable time. I strongly recommend him to Borstal training. Signed W Dobson, Governor
