Sorry father is not well. Writer is much better; got up for the first time yesterday. Has a bad eye, so it is better to stay in a dark room. The others had some good tennis this afternoon. Has little to do so got Kenneths trains out to play with. The swallow have returned. Reference to Horace, who has recieved many letters and 2 picture postcards from Manila from his people. John has been planning how to fit in another bedroom without altering outside appearances.
