Have decided to spend Christmas in England and Maud says she would love to come and stay with Hugh and Cara. Had tea today with Mr & Mrs Beech; he is going to the British Legion dinner tonight. They are coming to lunch on Monday to help eat the brace of pheasants sent by Uncle Herbert [Johnson]. Has sent a box of apples.
