Scope and Content
These are to certify, That at the Adjourned Quarter Session of the Peace, held at the Sessions House Clerkenwell, in & for the County of London, on Tuesday 18th February 1919, before certain Justices of our Lord the King to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid, & also to hear & determine divers Felonies, Trespasses & other misdemeanours committed in the same County
Samuel Dalton was in due form of Law, tried & convicted of a certain Indictment against him, for that he in the night of 6th February 1919 was found having in his possession without lawful excuse certain implements of housebreaking namely, a jemmy, a pair of pliers & 10 keys. & the said Samuel Dalton was on Tuesday 18th March 1919 ordered to be released upon his own recognaizance in the sum of £5 to appear for judgment if called upon within 2 years (Probation of Offenders Act, 1907, sec 2)
Dated 5th October 1920 & signed by Clerk of the Peace for the said County.
