Pleased Canon Dimont was so sympathetic, and hopes a real living will come Hugh's way soon. It will be lovely if Cecil and Mrs Bazeley come to Clifton to visit. Comments about a Mrs Catley and her adult children. Maude's throat is not well yet, but she is returning to work at Surbiton for the summer term. She is anxious to meet Cecil, though the writer thinks it will be August before this is practicable. Monica Bomford is to be married on 24 June. Maude wonders if Hugh and Kathleen would like to combine with her to get a present.
