'Congratulation of your men's splendid fighting. It is magnificent but it is horrible.' Excited and thrilled by the news from all parts. Hugh's father got back to the office yesterday after 5 days at home being nursed for a sort of supposed 'flu brought on by a chill. Jim Bomford came to lunch on Saturday and then he and Maude went to see the Rusian ballet the the Coliseum. Jim has has a fortnights leave. Mentions his stammer. The Wiglesworths are coming to London.
