Hopes Hugh will be out in billets some days longer. Asks if Hugh would like Gertrude to send him a ginger and date cake. Off to Turvey tomorrow. Asked John Crisp to come, but he is already engaged and hardly ever gets away from London. Possibility of going to stay with Hugh's aunt, Edith Wiglesworth at Winscombe [Somerset].
