Reference to O Edward [Oswald Edward Selwyn Bazeley] getting a mention in dispatches, John [brother?] getting the OBE and writer being awarded an MC. Is to be demobilised on 6 August. Thereafter expects to be busy helping parents to move house; they are going to Vine Cottage and giving up Gunterstone Road. Will also have to get own things moved to Bristol. Father is much better but onlt slowly gathering strength. Colourful flowers in the gardens. Playing cricket.
