- Scope and ContentThe condition of this recongnizance is such that if the above-bounded several Persons shall personally appear at the next Court of Quarter Sessions to be held at the Shire Hall at Bedford in & for the County of Bedford on 8th October 1919 & them & there the said Walter George Purser Prefer a Bill of Indictment & Prosecute the Law with effect, & the said several other Persons give Evidence in His Majesty's behalf against Arthur Vowles & not depart the Court without leave, then this recognizance to be void, otherwise to remain in full force. Taken & acknowledged the 6th October 1919 at the Shire Hall Bedford before me, the undersigned one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in & for the said County of Bedford Signed F W Conquest, Justice of the Peace for the said County
