- Scope and ContentVery few English left in Arosa; Kenneth, Shepard and the writer are the only ones left at the Valsana. Comments about walking in the snow. Went to tea with Raverty and his sister; they are not returning to England this summer as last summer did him no good. Describes arranging a parting dinner for the Fitzgibbon family. Reading lessons in church. Mr Poulter os not much of a preacher. Writer leaves the day after tomorrow, and Kenneth and Shepard will leave soon after. Describes travel and luggage arrangements. Was wronlgly informed of the date of the start of term, which is actually 15 April. This means 4 days knocked off the holiday. Comments about the health of Lady Hampson.
