- Scope and ContentIt has been hot and the thaw is already well advanced. Skating with May Fitzgibbon and Mr Lescher. A gymkhana arranged by Mrs Morland. Writer played ice hockey yesterday. There is no skiing or togogganing; writer usually goes for a walk on the afternoons. Went to a dance at the Grand Hotel. Reference to Kenneth Dows, Shepard and the writer as being the 'three lonely bacheolors'. Had lunch with Dr. and Mrs Morland. Went to look at the new sanatorium being built. The Wells Theological College term begins on 19th April, so writer will have 3 weks at home. Kenneth [Dows] is better than he ever has been since the writer has known him. All looking forward to leaving Arosa, though with some natural regrets at the break up involved. By Monday evening there will only be 5 English people left at the Valsana. New interin chaplin Mr Coulter. Writer will be reading lessons in church as Dr Morland rarely attends morning service. Had Reverty and his sister for tea last week. Have not seen much of him this winter as he has not been so well as last year.
