- Scope and ContentHopes his mother's health is improving. Hopes her visit to Oxford will not be affected, as looking forward to seeing her. The master came to tea on Thursday; he did not eat anything and only had one cup of tea, but talked of many things. There is a scheme going to start a 'Varsity House' for Oxford & Cambridge men to run at Chatham, the people to be benefitted being the bluey jackets of the Navy. Went to the Balliol concert last sunday. Thye Bishop of London is to preach at St. Mary's this evening. Radley school is doing a 'The Frogs' by Greek playwright Aristophanes next Friday, which the writer hopes to see.
