9a) Letter dated 30th December 1918 to W W Marks Esq, Shire Hall, Dear Sir, I am enclosing letter from the Bedfordshire Brewers Association & shall be glad if you will hand this to the Chairman of Quarter Sessions on Wednesday next, 1st January 1919. Dear Sir, The Bedfordsire Brewers Association venture to approach your Committee with regard to the Compensation Levy for the ensuing year * trust they will see their way to adhere to the policy of last year when 50% of the levy was decided upon: we believe that this gave satisfaction to all parties. We rejoice that the war has now ended. The conditions & restrictions imposed upon our trade are still in force & it does not seem probable that they will be removed for some time to come.
