    6b) Harry Forty on his oath said; The notice produced & shown to me dated the 2nd April 1918 with the plan attached was affixed to the Door of the Parish Church at Ravensden & remained there from Sunday 7th April 1918 to Sunday 28th April inclusive. A copy of the notice produced & shown to me dated 3rd July 1918 was affixed on the Door of the Parish Church at Ravensden & remained there from 7th July to 28th July inclusive A copy of the same notice was affixed at the place where it is proposed the diversion should be made, namely at point "B" & by the sied of each end of the new & old highway namely at the points "A" "B" & "D" & remained there for 4 successive Sundays from 7th July to 28th July inclusive. Taken & made upon oath before us Walter George Harter & Lindesay Beaumont Beaumont Esquires, 2 of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of Bedford acting in & for the same County & in & for the petty Sessions Division of Bedford within the Parish of Ravensden hereinafter mentioned is situated at the Shire Hall in Bedford on 29th July 1918 upon the matter of the diversion of a certain public road in the Parish of Ravensden in the said County, called the Ravensden Footpath leading from the Kimbolton Road over Mowsbury Hill to Ravensden which the said Justices viewed on 2nd July last. The said John Turney Sanders on oath said; I am the surveyor of Bedford Rural District Council, The four plans marked A.B.C & D are indentical, They are taken from the ordanance survey map. On A & C the metres, bounds & admeasurements are shown. That marked A was signed by me on the 26th January 1918 & I indentify it as having been produced to the Meeting of the Rural District Council of Bedford held on that date, when the application was made to divert the footpath leading from Kimbolton Road was considered. It is also signed by the Chairman & Clerk of the said District Council. I have on several occasions visited Ravensden & am acquainted with the ground. The yellow line on the Plan decribes the portion of the present highway which is intened to be stopped up & diverted. The point "A" is o the Kimbolton Road about 12 feet from where the Goldington Brook crosses the road & the North side of the Brook. The distance from A to B is 132 yards. The path between A & B crosses the land of John Braybrook, James Marshall & William John Guntrip. The pink line describes the new highwayto be sustituted from B to D. The length of this new highway is 45 yards & 1 foot. This portion runs over the land of William John Guntrip & is fenced off to a uniform breadth of 4 feet. The path has been made up with cinders & is a hard track. The new highway joins the Kimbolton Road at the point D which is 111 yards & 2 feet to the north of point A. The plan C was signed by me as correct before it was sent for signature by the Chairman & Clerk of the Parish Council. I affixed a notice of which I produce a copy at the place where it is proposed the diversion should be made & by the side of each end of the footpath namely at points A,B & D on the plann on 6th July 1918 signed John T Sanders 6e) the above depositions of John Turney Sanders, Alexander Morrison & Harry Forty were taken & sworn before us at Bedford aforesaid on the day & year first above mentioned Signed Walter Harter, Lindesay B Beaumont
