Letter from Henrietta Argenti to her daughter Marigo, sent from 20 Porchester Terrace, Hyde Park.

11 May. Undated.

From: 1905 To: 1908

Recommends not calling Tee and Grandma by nicknames any more; it is a joke which is rather stale and played out. Asks Marigo to take great care of her father when he visits. Is delighted with Miss Trentham's opinion of Marigo's German. Knows Marigo will be good and work hard and be polite to Miss Higgins and behave in a dignified manner to Angelica and the servants. 'Please do not drive the motor again on any account with Lambard ..... you can drive with father only by your side.' Comments about arithmetic, algebra and geometry and possibility of arranging extra lessons with Miss E Scott. Asks if Marigo ever tries to say a few words on Greek.
