- Scope and ContentThanks for all the nice letters. Is extremely happy but misses eveyone very much. Thanks for the cake, which arrived rather crushed - did not have courage enough to eat it. 'We were again married on Saturday, as I suppose you have heard, and although we were a small party we were all very jovial.' Asks if there is anything they would like her to bring back for them. The hotel is very nice. Has electric light and telephones in all the rooms. If we want anything we telephone for it. Even the clocks run on electricity. Has been to three theatres, there are awfully nice here. Ann is quite well and manages to go about Paris very easily. She has seen the Eiffel tower and liked it. Pretty sends best love and kisses. We are coming to stay with you in Edgeware when we return.
