    Be it remembered, on 21st June 1918 Ebenezer Matthews of Leighton Buzzard a Superintendent of Police, acknowledged himself to owe to the sovereign the sum of £40 if he fails the conditions endorsed. Taken this day at Woburn signed J Waugh & G Haines justices of the Peace. In the case against Bertie Royal Gutteridge that he at Tilsworth on 8th June 1918 did assault Arthur James Sanford causing actual bodily harm
