    1) Walter William Arthur Ruffhead of Bedford, solicitor's clerk, 2) Thomas Laughton of Bedford, builder, Alfred Burridge of Bedford, aerated water manufacturer and Henry Burridge of Bedford, whitesmith. Recites: - indenture of mortgage dated 29 April 1884 between Alfred Bradley and Robert Addison of Sleaford for securing £1000 plus interest. - indenture of mortgage dated 29 April 1884 between Alfred Bradley and Leverton Jessop of Bedford for securing £12 7s then owing to Jessop and any further sums advanced + interest. - indenture dated 19 May 1884 between Alfred Bradley and Walter William Arthur Ruffhead and creditors of Alfred Bradley set out in the schedule of that indenture, conveyed to W W A Ruffhead upon trust to sell. - Principal money and interest still owing to Addison. - £186 7s now owing to Jessop. Now Walter William Arthur Ruffhead has agreed to sell to Thomas Laughton, Alfred Burridge and Henry Burridge, (subject to mortgages) for £108 13s, all that piece of land containing 14369 feet bounded on the north by property of Charles Haynes, on the south by property of Alfred Bradley, on the east by a new road leading out of the south side of Goldington Road and called Bower Street and has a frontage thereto of 157 feet 6 inches and on the west by Lost 53 ad 54 of the Bower building estate, and also the ten messuages or dwelling houses now in course of erection on the said land with all rights belonging.
