The undermentioned Persons severally acknowledge themselves to owe to Our Sovereign Lord The King the sums following namely, John Edwin
Andrews of Toddington, a farmer, as principal the sum of Fifty Pounds, & Renest Garratt Blow of Houghton Regis, a farmer, the sum of Fifty Pounds

Condition
The condition of the recognizance is such that if the above bounded principal shall at the next Court of General Quarter Session holden in & for the County of Bedford prosecute his appeal from a certain conviction of the Court of Summary Jurisdication sittng at Woburn bearing the date 26th April 1918 wherby the said principal was convicted for that he on 19th February 1918 at Toddington unlawfully committed an offence against the Defence of the Realm by contravening an order , the Wheat, Rye & Rice Resolution Order 1917. ...............
The principal shall appear at the next session & prosecute such appeal & abide the judgment of the Court.
