Group portrait of the Richmond family and others. Two women [Edith Kate and Fanny Richmond] sit in chairs in front of seven men, five of which are in military uniform. The two men not in military uniform are in the middle of the frame - the man standing between the two women appears to be mid-laugh and his hands are blurred in front of the pockets of his suit jacket. The whole group are stood infront of open glass double doors, with plants visible either side of frame. The index book has a note indictating this is the family group with additions of 'Lieut? Carter & [?]Terrell, & H. [?]Ruggle & T. [?]Braunton'.
