Settlement i) Richard Thomas Gilpin, George William Shury and Sir John Montague Burgoyne ii) Henry Meux Smith £11,000 now owing to ii) by Sir Henry Meux and Co. To be transferred into the names of i) in the books of the Company and held by them in trust for i) for benefit of wife and children signatures of all endorsed witnesses: Charles Whitby, William Clark, Thomas Ward, Solicitors Clerks Also endorsed with memorandum as to advance of £1000 to ii) in January and March 1863 and that the claim on policy 16854 was paid and discharged by the Law Life Assurances Society, 13 December 1882 And with a note of the production of this deed in Chancery in the case Cotton v Gilpin, 16 January 1864
