    (i) John Shepherd of Nether Dean, yeoman (ii) Edward Reding of Nether Dean, yeoman (iii) Benjamin Middleton of Wellingborough, draper and William Harlock of Thingdon, farmer (iv) James Murphy of Wellingborough, gentleman Edward Reding has agreed to buy the land for £210 and for this purpose has brrowed £160 from (iii) - a close of old enclosed pasture in Nether Dean, by estimation 1 acre, but by measure 3 roods, 10 perches, at the East end of the yard and homestead of John Shepherd in Nether Dean; commonlly called the pightle or overclose, and latley belonging to the said yard and homestead of John Shepherd , and also to a cottage lately belonging to John Shepherd, now sold to Luke Rawlings. - a plot of new enclosed land adjacent to the said old enclosure, in a field which before the enclosure of the open fields of Nether Dean was called Deep Slade Field and containing 3 acres, 2 roods and 14 perches (bounds as in award), awarded by commissioners to John Shepherd in lieu of 3 acres of meadow and commons. Both are now laid together as 1 close, late in the occupation of John Shepherd, now Edward Reding
