Superseded catalogues, used to trace changes to references etc

Where major recataloguing i.e. reorganisation and renumbering has been carried out to a previously catalogued collection the former printed catalogue is kept. If quoted references do not seem to correspond to an existing catalogue entry it may be useful to check it the reference is to a previous version of the collection's catalogue. Generally for staff use only - please ask staff.
