On 4th April 1914 at Turvey, Enoch John Grice unlawfully knowingly & designedlydid falsely pretend to one Mary Ann Farrer that he was employed laying telegraph cable from Northampton to Bedford, & that he had luggage & valuable instruments at Turvey Station. He did obtain by false pretences the sum of 10 shillings from Mary Farrer.

Sentence; 12 months imprisonment with Hard Labour
