- Scope and ContentQSR1911/4/3/10 London These are to Certify, That at the Adjourned General Sessions of the Peace, held at the Sessions House Newington in and for the County of LONDON, on Tuesday the Twenty-sixth day of September in the year of our Lord 1911, before certain Justices of our Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the county aforesaid, and also to hear the determine divers Felonies, Trespassers, and other misdemeanours committed in the same County Alfred Ernest Walker was in due form of Law (upon his own confession)convicted on a certain Indictment against him for that he on the Fourteenth day of August in the year aforesaid one watch, one chain, and other articles of the property of Lavinia Tipping, one mackintosh, one portmanteau and other articles of the property of Angelo Tammer, one overcoat, one shirt and other articles, of the property of Andrew Blannel, and one pair of trousers, two chains and other articles of the property of Joseph Burgmayr feloniously did steal, take and carry away. And feloniously did receive and have the like property well knowing the same to have been feloniously stolen, against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided, And the said Alfred Ernest Walker was thereupon ordered to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour in His Majesty’s prison at Wandsworth – Six calendar months.
